Well, we all went to the 4 wheeler rodeo on this last Sunday at the Oak Hill Corral horse club in Roam, Pa. Boy what a day it was beautiful. Sunny and warm. The events were great the guys at Oak Hill Corral did a great job in making up the events. They were fun. Very nicely run everything went smooth and moved rather quickly. Although the obstacle course was more than I bargained for I was wishing for my horse more than ever by the time I got though it. I think my lungs were one size larger for having screamed so loud. A little shaky and relieved that I actually got through it all in one piece lacking one finger nail that sadly didn't make it. Oh well they are cheaper by the dozen any way. Certainly different from a horse as at least I can keep my hand on the gas and brake at the same time on a horse.
After I almost went through the fence looking for the brake on the 4 wheeler I really appreciated my horse much more. And thinking I was tipping over on the 4 wheeler I put my foot down to stop myself from doing that very thing the 4 wheeler decided that my leg was a new course and drove up it. Now I have tread marks on the back of my leg another thing that my horse would never do. I really think the horse is the better machine for me. The experience was fun, exciting, life threating and want to do it again.
Remember next Sunday April 4, we are having a fund raiser fun show for the Oak Hill Corral horse club here at Gentle Creek. Starts at noon sign ups at 11:00
Talk to you next week. You all have a great week!
