Home made cool packs
Add 3 parts water to 1 part rubbing acohol. Put in zip lock freezer bags over night. Turns into a slushey mixture, The less water you mix with rubbing acohol the more froze the mixture will be. Its cheep and easy and can reuse as often as you like. Works great for wrapping legs on people or horses.

Hello, I'm glad you could stop by and take a look at us here at Gentle Creek. I am happy to give you a tour of our farm. My name is Terri Bowman and I will be your tour guide. We like to trail ride and we have some wonderful trails to explore and a great dirt road mostly covered by trees on each side of the road following a wander creek. Most of our boarders love to trail ride and the more the merrier. I arrange trail rides every now and then so all of us have a chance to get together and enjoy the day. We also like to barrel race and play in the indoor arena. I love to raise horses, I raise Paints and Quarterhorses. My family boarders range from 8 years to teenagers to adults and I feel very fortunate in having every one of them. We all have managed to become very good friends and have a fun family atmosphere. It's alot of fun thinking of going to the barn and wondering who has come for a visit today.

We not only like to trail ride but barrel racing is part of our fun. We practice and go to shows. Alot of us love to barrel race and play in the arena teaching our horses the events of the gaming world of horses. Others just ride in the arena doing whatever they choose. Its great for a rainy day. Everyone is helpful and caring. That's what makes it so wonderful to have a horse farm here. Many times at the end of the day several of us gather outside around the table for a chat and a soda. It's great fun.

I also love to breed horses and have several Stallions, some Paints and some Quarterhorses. I also have Paint and Quarter mares. I always have plenty of foals born each year and that lends to the excitement of Spring. The excitement we all share when one of the mares are close to foaling, wondering when you pull in the driveway if we will have a new face to look at and what color he or she might be. Or, if you are blessed to be here went the wondrous moment arrives and the mare actually is going to foal and you get to watch. Life on the farm is great, and so full of surprises!!

I usually have foals for sale every year. Mostly Paints and I tell you they are so pretty when they are all in a field together it's so colorful. It's hard to decide which one is the favorite for the day. I would be only too glad to share that sight with you. Come out for a Saturday drive and take a peek. You won't regret it. There are always horses here for sale all you have to do is call and find out just what might be around the corner.

My husband Ed and my daughter Deanna and my son Lance are usually around somewhere and will help with any questions you may have when you come to look us over. Just ask for Terri!! Send us a message by visiting out contact us page.
